Park Assist

Park Assist is a system for urban parking.
It automates some manoeuvres.
It helps with parallel and perpendicular spaces.

Switch it on.
Drive past potential spaces.
Sensors measure the space.
The system detects a space 20% larger than your vehicle.
Then it asks you to stop.
Let go of the steering wheel.
Select reverse gear via the Touchscreen.
The system takes over steering as you reverse.
If you steer yourself, it deactivates.

The system avoids objects and other vehicles.
But always stay alert for children and animals nearby.
You control the accelerator and brakes.
So you can go slowly and stop when needed.
