Requirements: MY13+ Diesel
One of the most exciting features available with Land Rover vehicles is the exclusive Queue Assist technology. When caught in traffic, it can track and match the speed of a vehicle ahead, even to a standstill. Once the car begins to pull away, the feature requires the driver to apply just a brief press of the accelerator to resume the main system.
This system is constantly active when engaged, so there is no need to worry or disable it when a slowdown occurs. Thanks to this technology, the stress and hassle of bumper-to-bumper traffic can be severely reduced.
Stop & Go / Queue Assist Explained
New Land Rover models that have this system also come with Stop & Go, also known as Queue Assist. How does this intelligent cruise control feature work?
-
Stop & Go/Queue Assist is used for slow-moving heavy traffic.
-
When the vehicle in front slows to a standstill, the system also brings your vehicle to a stop.
-
When the vehicle in front moves forward again, gently tap the accelerator pedal – the system will move forward and maintain a safe following distance.
-
The following distance can be adjusted on your steering wheel-mounted controls.
