D300 to D350
D300 – D350 Range Rover ECU Software Calibration, OEM factory power upgrade using genuine JLR software.
Before (D300)
Power – 300 PS
Torque – 650 Nm
0-60 mph – 6.3 sec
Top Speed – 135 mph
After (D350)
Power – 350 PS
Torque – 700 Nm
0-60 mph – 5.9 sec
Top Speed – 145 mph
The differences come from software calibrations controlling boost, torque limits, injection maps, and thermal strategy. Because the engines are mechanically identical, D300 models can be upgraded safely to full D350 output using OEM-level programming.
This upgrade improves acceleration, towing, throttle response, and overall drivability across Defender, Discovery, and Range Rover models.
Engine Overview
All variants use the same:
- 3.0L Ingenium I6 diesel
- Twin-turbo + electric supercharger
- 48V MHEV system
- Fuel system & internals
- ZF 8HP automatic transmission
The introduction of the D350 reinforces Land Rover’s commitment to producing engines that meet stringent emissions standards while maintaining high performance. Designed with lightweight construction, the engine not only enhances fuel efficiency but also contributes to an improved driving experience.
