Question 1

Will activating a feature void my warranty?

Accepted Answer

Coding itself is a configuration change, not a hardware modification. We document every change and restore original settings where a platform requires it. If your car is under warranty, tell us first — some items are better deferred.

Question 2

Do you need my car physically?

Accepted Answer

No. Most sessions are remote: you connect an ENET adapter between the vehicle and your laptop, and we run the session over a shared connection. In-person support is available in Hong Kong.

Question 3

Which models do you cover?

Accepted Answer

All Jaguar Land Rover DOIP platforms, model years 2017–2026: Defender L663, Discovery 5 L462, Discovery Sport L550, Range Rover L405/L460, Range Rover Sport L494/L461, Velar L560, Evoque L538/L551, and the Jaguar XE, XF, XJ, XK, F-Type, E-Pace and F-Pace ranges.

Question 4

How long does an activation take?

Accepted Answer

A single feature usually takes 15–30 minutes including a health check. Full diagnostic sweeps and multi-feature bundles take longer — we confirm the slot when you book.

Question 5

Is the change permanent?

Accepted Answer

Activated features stay active. Main-dealer software updates can occasionally reset some settings; we keep a record of your configuration and can re-apply it after a service visit.

Question 6

What do I need for a remote session?

Accepted Answer

A JLR ENET adapter, a Windows laptop, and a battery maintainer on the car for longer sessions. If anything is missing, we will help you source it before we start.

Question 7

Can you fix features a previous attempt broke?

Accepted Answer

In most cases yes. Bring the fault codes or a description of what changed, and we start by restoring a healthy baseline before applying the requested configuration.
