Blind Spot Monitor
We will remove your rear bumper, replace the wiring harness, and add new radar modules.
Then we’ll replace the wing mirror assemblies with correct ones that have blind spot monitor indicators.
Once everything is reassembled, we’ll upload the correct configuration to the vehicle.
We’ll take the car for a test drive to ensure the retrofit works correctly.
The installation process begins with preparing genuine parts and wiring.
In this photo, we see the parts kits for the Blind Spot Monitoring system and soft door close system.
The full installation follows these steps:
-
Install mirror components with blind spot monitoring indicators.
-
Connect the new mirrors to the vehicle’s system.
-
Remove the rear bumper.
-
Install side blind spot radars.
-
Set up additional wiring.
-
Connect the radars to the vehicle’s systems.
After that, we perform software work to activate the system and program new modules.
Upon client request, we can install an additional function – safe rear passenger exit (Clear Exit).
For this, we install extra indicators in the rear door cards.
These indicators warn rear passengers about danger when opening the door.
