Adaptive Cruise Control keeps a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
If that vehicle slows or stops, the system reacts.
This works when you cruise or travel in slow traffic. If the vehicle in front stops, you will come to a gradual halt.
This enhancement of the Land Rover cruise control system is available on select new Land Rover SUV trim levels.
Land Rover SUVs like the Range Rover Sport and Evoque come standard with Cruise Control & Speed Limiter.
This lets you set a maximum cruising speed.
It also helps you avoid speeding. This system takes those customization capabilities even further.

How Does Adaptive Cruise Control Work?
- Engage the system.
- It monitors vehicle speed.
- It maintains a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead.
- If sensors indicate inadequate space, it automatically reduces vehicle speed.
- When the slower vehicle is no longer present, it accelerates back to the originally-set cruise control speed.
